Commercial Truck Tire Sizes – West Palm Beach Roadside & Fleet Service

Deals On Wheels & Tires commercial tire-size reference. This page explains the commercial wheel-size categories we service, the inventory rules that apply to each category, and the information needed to match the correct tire. Inventory changes with demand, so confirm the complete sidewall size, tire position and application before dispatch or installation. Other commercial sizes can be sourced as needed even when they are not specifically listed here.

Commercial inventory rules

  • 15-inch, 16-inch, 17.5-inch and 19.5-inch commercial applications: new tires only.
  • 22.5-inch and 24.5-inch commercial applications: new, used and recap/retread options may be available, subject to exact size, position, application and current inventory.
  • Passenger cars, SUVs and light-duty pickups: new tires only. Used or recap passenger tires are not offered.
  • Other commercial sizes: can be sourced as needed. The categories above describe common inventory/service groups and do not limit what can be ordered.

Verified exact commercial size examples

295/75R22.5 and 11R22.5 are verified commercial size/search examples that may be used for steer, drive, trailer or other commercial applications depending on the tire specification and vehicle. Used and recap availability is limited to qualifying 22.5-inch and 24.5-inch commercial applications and changes with inventory.

How to read a commercial tire sidewall

The full sidewall marking matters. A wheel-diameter category such as 17.5, 19.5, 22.5 or 24.5 does not identify the complete tire by itself. Dispatch and sales staff need the complete sidewall size so the correct width, aspect ratio or numeric size format, construction, wheel diameter and application can be confirmed.

15-inch and 16-inch commercial applications

Deals On Wheels services 15-inch and 16-inch commercial applications with new tires only. Multiple full sidewall sizes exist inside these categories, so provide the exact sidewall marking when calling. Read our 15- and 16-inch commercial tire guide.

17.5-inch and 19.5-inch commercial applications

Commercial 17.5-inch and 19.5-inch applications are also new-only. These categories can appear on medium-duty trucks, delivery vehicles, trailers and fleet equipment depending on configuration. See the 17.5- and 19.5-inch commercial tire guide.

22.5-inch and 24.5-inch commercial applications

Commercial 22.5-inch and 24.5-inch applications may be available as new, used or recap/retread, depending on exact size, tire position, application and current inventory. The verified exact examples currently approved for search content are 295/75R22.5 and 11R22.5.

For used commercial inventory, see our used 295/75R22.5 and 11R22.5 commercial tire guide. For recap/retread information, see our commercial recap and retread guide.

Steer, drive, trailer and all-position applications

The same wheel diameter can serve different positions. The replacement decision depends on the full tire size, whether the tire is on the steer axle, drive axle or trailer, load requirements, wheel condition and the truck or trailer application. Do not choose a replacement from wheel diameter alone.

Specialty and all-position commercial tires

Specialty, wide-base, mixed-service and all-position commercial tires can be sourced for applications that do not use the most common sizes. See our specialty commercial tire guide and all-position commercial tire guide. These guides explain the application without claiming unverified exact stock.
