A commercial tire blowout can damage more than the tire. Before calling for roadside tire service, gather enough information to help determine what tire, tools and additional repair capability may be needed. Deals On Wheels & Tires provides commercial truck, trailer and fleet roadside support in the West Palm Beach area.
Commercial truck or trailer tire blowout? Once safely stopped, call Deals On Wheels commercial roadside dispatch at (561) 847-4097. Have your exact I-95/Turnpike location, direction and mile marker, tire size and position, unit number and photos available. Dispatch and parts availability are confirmed before service.
First: get to a safe location
Do not remain in an unsafe traffic position to inspect a tire. Once the vehicle is safely positioned, provide the roadway, direction of travel, nearest exit or cross street, facility or yard information, and any access restrictions.
Read the complete tire size
Provide the entire sidewall marking rather than only the wheel diameter. Core commercial wheel categories include 15, 16, 17.5, 19.5, 22.5 and 24.5-inch applications, with 295/75R22.5 and 11R22.5 among verified stocked examples where appropriate. These examples are not the full limit: most other commercial sizes can be sourced on request, subject to application and availability.
Report the tire position
Tell dispatch whether the tire is on the steer, drive or trailer position and whether it is a single or dual-wheel application. Position matters when selecting the appropriate replacement.
Look for secondary damage
- Damaged wheel or rim.
- Loose or damaged mud flap/bracket.
- Visible air-line or brake damage.
- Hub, seal or wheel-end damage.
- Trailer body or suspension contact.
- Debris wrapped around the axle or wheel end.
Do not crawl beneath an unsafe or unsupported commercial vehicle to inspect it. Report what can be seen safely.
Commercial inventory rules
Regular 15-, 16-, 17.5- and 19.5-inch commercial stock is new-only. Qualifying 22.5- and 24.5-inch commercial applications may have new, used or recap options depending on exact size/application/current inventory. See our commercial tire-size hub and commercial truck, trailer and fleet services page for more information.
